Examples of “PVA” systems include Deluxe, Premium and Ultra coating systems. These coating systems involve the application of a tinted layer of 100% solids epoxy base coat. Depending upon the coating system selected, polyvinyl acetate (PVA) chips are “broadcast” in varying densities of “medium spread” through “full chip” into the color coat and no clear coat (Deluxe), one clear coat (Premium & Ultra) are subsequently applied.
